Environmental Protection Agency issued the following announcement on June 15.
This just in! The Nevada Division of Water Resources has issued a new Order to ensure sustainable water development in the Lower White River Flow System. This Order will effectively manage groundwater pumping in the area while simultaneously protecting the federally endangered Moapa Dace fish. This is one of many steps the Division is taking in its Nevada-wide efforts to modernize groundwater management using the best available science and innovate water programs.
