Mercer County School District #404 Board of Education met April 22.

The Board of Education of Mercer County School District #404, Mercer, Henderson, & Rock Island Counties, Illinois, convened at a regular meeting at the Mercer County Intermediate School District Office, on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
Prior to Roll Call, Mike Bowns opened with a brief prayer followed by the pledge of allegiance led by President Julie Wagner.
ATTENDANCE
Board members present upon roll call: Balmer, Bowns, Dillavou, Frieden, Smock, Wagner, and Yates. A quorum was present. Balmer, Dillavou, and Smock joined via video conference.

Administrators present: Superintendent Scott Petrie

2. There was a motion by Bowns, seconded by Dillavou, at 7:34PM to go into Closed Session for Negotiations discussion.

Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. 5 ILCS
120/2(c)(2).
Roll Call: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays. Motion carried.
OPEN SESSION
3. There was a motion by Frieden, seconded by Bowns, to come out of Closed Session at 8:02PM.
Majority of Ayes by Voice Vote. Motion Carried.
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
4. There was a motion by Wagner, seconded by Frieden, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding with MCEA as presented.
Roll Call: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays. Motion carried.
