There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Alexis zip code 61412, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Timothy J. Walls. He was convicted of a property crime in 2018, when he was 49. He is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
