1:00 pm Jianzi open play
Jianzi is a traditional Asian game in which players aim to keep a weighted shuttlecock in the air using mostly their feet and other parts of the body except the hands
2:00 pm Create a memorial garden
Decorate a flower pot and plant a bulb in memory of you loved one
2:30 pm Children's dragon fan decoration
2:00 - 4:00 pm Kite decoration and flying
Blank kits for children will be available for decoration and flying
3:00 pm Learn to fold Joss Paper ingots
Follow along as you learn to fold foil Joss Paper
Joss Paper, also known as ghost or spirit money, are sheets of paper that are burned in traditional Chinese deity or ancestor worship ceremonies during special holidays. Joss paper is also burned in traditional Chinese funerals.
3:30 pm Burning of Joss Paper ingots
Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Please enjoy the reflection/meditation space available all day.
