Knoxville home prices fall in January 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2020 in Knoxville fell by $47,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2020, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,000 - a 42.7% decrease over the $110,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Knoxville in January 2019.

The median sales tax in Knoxville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,732, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for January 2020.
