Yates City home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Yates City fell by $19,237 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $64,500 - a 23% decrease over the $83,737 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Yates City in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Yates City for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,968, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
