Knoxville home prices fall in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Knoxville fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $81,000 - a 11% decrease over the $91,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Knoxville in 2018.

The median sales tax in Knoxville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,732, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for 2019.
