Banks And Beals Funeral Home recently issued the following announcement.
Mr. Richard W. Krow, 79, of rural Dallas City, Illinois passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at his home.
He was born on December 16, 1940 near Gladstone, Illinois the son of James Aaron and Mildred Z. Paul Krow Sr. On February 17, 1961 he married Martha Merschbrock. They later divorced. He later married Patricia Miller. They later divorced.
Richard was a 1959 graduate of the Dallas City High School. He farmed all of his in the Durham Township, near Dallas City. He enjoyed listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s. He also enjoyed his IH farm equipment and Chevrolet trucks.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie (Ron) Tutwiler of Dallas City; three sons, Andy Krow of Dallas City, Kenny (Tena) Krow of Lomax, Illinois and James Krow of Dallas City; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Bertha Blindt of Gladstone, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Kennebeck and Delores Shoemate and two brothers, James Krow Jr. and Harold Krow.
A visitation will be held from noon until 1:45p.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A graveside service will follow at 2:00p.m. at Durham Cemetery, rural Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established in his memory.
