Carl Sandburg State Historic Site recently issued the following announcement.
Join Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Office of Henderson, Knox, McDonough and Warren Counties as we prepare the Site for winter.
Volunteers will help remove leaves, dead plants, sticks and help with other landscaping activities to spruce up the grounds.
Water, snacks, and basic gardening tools will be provided.
Please bring your own gloves and any specialized tools you like to use.
Feel free to come for all or part of the allotted time!
