Gilson home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Gilson fell by $91,250 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 43.2% decrease over the $211,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Gilson in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Gilson for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,232, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
