Yates City home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Yates City fell by $85,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,000 - a 70.8% decrease over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Yates City in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Yates City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,970, approximately 5.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
