Wataga home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Wataga rose by $24,250 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,000 - a 46.9% increase over the $51,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Wataga in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wataga for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,433, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
