There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 61488, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Western Illinois zip code. The 59-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 30 years in prison for homicide in 1990 when he was 31 years old.
