Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Warren County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Warren County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Warren County were men. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Randall J. Bell. He was convicted of a property crime in 2013 when he was 50 years old. He is now 56.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Warren County municipality.
