Knoxville home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Knoxville rose by $25,500 while total sales increased by 24.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $91,000 - a 38.9% increase over the $65,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 37 homes sold in Knoxville in 2017.

The median sales tax in Knoxville for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,706, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for 2018.
