2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Warren County?

There were 16 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Warren County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that 13 men and three women were released in Warren County. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brandon S. Hornback. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2015 when he was 34 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Warren County municipality.
