Yates City home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Yates City fell by $58,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $24,000 - a 70.7% decrease over the $82,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Yates City in March 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Yates City for 2017 was $1,970. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,063. This marks an decrease of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 8.2%.
