Knox County Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on April 15.
April is Distracted Driving Month. At 55 miles per hour, it takes only five seconds to close a gap the length of a football field between you and a tractor moving five miles per hour. As we enter spring planting season in Illinois, it is imperative to eliminate distractions in your vehicle and pay attention to farm equipment on the roadway. Join us to help save lives.
