Maquon home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Maquon rose by $9,750 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,000 - a 21.5% increase over the $45,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Maquon in 2016.

The median sales tax in Maquon for 2017 was $1,151. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,376. This marks an decrease of 16.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
