Galesburg home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Galesburg fell by $4,750 while total sales increased by 18.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,500 - a 7.2% decrease over the $66,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 94 homes sold in Galesburg in the first quarter of 2017.
