Williamsfield home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Williamsfield rose by $38,500 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,500 - a 55.8% increase over the $69,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Williamsfield in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Williamsfield for 2017 was $1,296.56. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,372.40. This marks an decrease of 5.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
