Roseville Fire Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
Fire can spread rapidly through your home, leaving you minutes to escape safely once the smoke alarm sounds.
Having a family escape plan and practicing it ensures that all family members know the designated escape routes, that the escape routes are clear, that doors and windows can be opened easily by family members, and that everyone knows the designated meeting spot.
