Administrators in Monmouth Roseville Community Unit School District 238 earn an average of $100,427 per year, ranking 405th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Galesburg Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 27.5% higher than in 2014 and 24.9% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 6.4% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Warren County school district enrolled 1692 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 212 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
