Gladstone Fire Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.

At 9:29AM Gladstone Fire was dispatched to Biggsville for a reported garage fire. Gladstone Fire responded with 3 firefighters and 1 truck and were quickly disregarded as the fire was extinguished before our arrival. Biggsville Fire handled the scene and responded with multiple trucks and personnel.
We will not comment further as it was not our fire scene.
