Report: Williamsfield spent $15,273 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Williamsfield Community Unit School District 210 is up 25.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Galesburg Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Knox County school district spent $12,129 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $15,273 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 310 to 258.

Williamsfield's spending in 2017-18 was 14.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
