Report: Monmouth Roseville spent $8,533 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Monmouth Roseville Community Unit School District 238 is up 6.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Galesburg Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Warren County school district spent $7,996 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,533 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1764 to 1692.

Monmouth Roseville's spending in 2017-18 was 36 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
