Report: Rowva spent $9,756 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Rowva School District 208 is up 4.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Galesburg Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Knox County school district spent $9,370 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,756 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 691 to 594.

Rowva's spending in 2017-18 was 26.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
