Biggsville Fire Protection District issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.
It is with great sadness that we hear about the Line Of Duty Death of Lieutenant Eric Hosette of the Clinton, Iowa Fire Department. Firefighter Adam Cain is in critical condition at the University of Iowa Hospital. Lt. Hosette has served with the Clinton Fire Department for 12 years, and as a lieutenant for a little over a year.
Please keep the families of both firemen in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy Lieutenant Hosette.
