Early voting began across Illinois for the 2018 general elections and Warren County has about the same turnout compared to other midterm elections.
“Early voting seems to be about the same for us for this type of election,” Mary Jean Dahlgren of the Warren County Election Division said.
So far, 142 voters cast their ballots in person, whereas 215 requested ballots by mail. Early voting figures for previous years were unavailable, Dahlgren said.
Early voting across Illinois started Sept. 27 and will go through Nov. 5, the day before the election.
