West Central Community Unit School District 235 issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
Last Saturday, October 6, 2018 two West Central students visited the Nursing home in Stronghurst with dogs, boer goats, sheep, and chickens. The activity was well received with the residents and they loved the connection to agriculture as all of them could relate to having or raising animals as kids and adults.
The two WC students enjoyed the interaction with the animals and how well received and loved they were by all of the people that they visited. Community Service is a powerful thing and we all need to do more of it in our free time. Great job and keep up the good work, Ruby and Addy.
