Join us at the library and celebrate National Literacy Day! Laura Bosomworth, secretary for the Western Illinois Reading Council (WIRC), will be here to talk about the Illinois Reads books chosen for this year. She will read Creepy Pair of Underwear and other books written by Aaron Reynolds. There will be a raffle for free Illinois Reads books. All ages welcome! Sponsored by the Western Illinois Reading Council. Please RSVP using our Google Form, or by calling the library at 309.734.3166.
You can also pick up your Illinois Reads Reading Program Sheet and start reading. All those who complete the books on their list by Family Read Night (November 15, 2018) earn a prize!
