Committee Chair Rider gave an overview of the history of this request.

Discussion:

Committee Member Amy Midis

Committee Member Midis moved to approve the request, and Committee Member Spangler seconded the motion. On unanimous voice-vote, the motion to approve the request carried.

After the vote result was announced, a discussion ensued concerning whether this matter would be considered by City Council at its July 3, 2018 meeting or July 17, 2018 meeting. The following participated: unidentified persons in the audience, Committee Chair Rider, and City Recorder Will Johnson.

b. A Resolution naming the First Creek Greenway (Upper) wooden pedestrian bridge at Grainger Avenue, Luttrell Street, and Hoitt Avenue the Chester "Chet" Kilgore Pedestrian Bridge.

Committee Chair Rider gave an overview of the history of this request.

Committee Member Davis moved to approve the request, and Committee Member Ronnie Collins seconded the motion. On unanimous voice-vote, the motion to approve the request carried.
