Little York Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2017 - 275 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Little York included 13 fires - five structure fires, one vehicle fire and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $13,100 in fire loss - or about $1,008 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The Little York Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $166,385 in 2017.
