Williamsfield Fire Protection District responded to 14 calls in 2017 - 27.3 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Williamsfield included 13 fires - four structure fires, one vehicle fire and eight other fires.

In all, the department saw $12,000 in fire loss - or about $923 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Williamsfield Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $602,537 in 2017.
