Call to Order/Roll Call
The Community Unit School District #205 Board of Education met for a special meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 8:30 AM at 940 W. Fremont St., Galesburg, IL. It was moved by Member Statham and seconded by Member Taylor to call the special meeting to order. The roll was read and the following Members responded: Lyon, Taylor, Rodriguez, Statham (4) Absent: Phelps, Scherpe, Harter (3) Motion carried. Roll Call #1
Consider Approval of Technology Purchase
It was moved by Member Lyon and seconded by Member Statham to approve the purchase as presented. Technology Director Mr. Nick Elliott, explained the need for the device to be able to cast laptops to screens in classrooms and explained how the recent updates created the issue. Discussion ensued. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Lyon, Rodriguez, Statham, Taylor (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #2
Adjournment
It was moved by Member Taylor and seconded by Member Statham that the meeting be adjourned—8:45AM. On voice vote the following Members voted AYE: Statham, Taylor, Rodriguez, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #3
