On Saturday, March 15, former Galesburg High School standouts Charlie Lardi and Landon Sloan’s current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Dominican Stars.

The game took place at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Stars this season.

The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Joe Brooks Baseball Field against Monmouth Fighting Scots.
